Yesterday we had a chance to look at “Why Your Business can’t afford to Ignore Twitter“, which looked at the importance of Twitter and its relationship building opportunities. This relationship marketing approach is exactly what we are going to dig deeper into today and look at twitter business marketing.
Think of Twitter as a tug-o-war competition with a big mud pit in the middle. Twitter marketing is a push-pull relationship that; and as business owners using it, you have to maintain balance; and be sure not to move to hard in one direction otherwise you get all muddy. The push part of using twitter is getting your message out and promoting your business. The pull part is listening to your clients and business partners and taking necessary steps to ensure high quality customer service. The key is to making twitter marketing work is that your twitter stream doesn’t become a push-push relationship. So, use the following advice of promoting your business equally with listening to your clients and sharing information with them for ultimate success.

Twitter For Business
Social Media is all the rage these days. There is Twitter, Facebook, Digg, YouTube, MySpace, StumbleUpon, and the list goes on. But aren’t those social networks really just for teens that want to let us know about the latest boy band they like or to share with the world who they are going to prom with? Well, sure Twitter and Facebook can be misused for that, OR it can be a powerful tool to increase perception of a brand, to share and retrieve information, and to connect with people that may not be possible because of geographic boundaries.

I recently read an article on Six Revisions, which is a design blog that has writes articles focused on web designers and web developers. They have some greay stuff over there with practical and useful articles for designers and web developers. The article focused on client relationships, specifically when it comes to web design. But, the principles in the article can really be applied to any client based relationship.
